The 8-watt R20 bulb supplements Litetronics’ current offering of 5-watt dimmable R20 Micro-Brite light bulbs to provide restaurants the opportunity to replace more of their incandescent light bulbs in exchange for energy savings and environmental benefits. Unlike standard dimmable CFLs that only dim to about 20% of light output, the Micro-Brite bulb dims down to 5% of its light output. Plus, its smooth dimming control works just like incandescent and operates on existing fixtures and dimmers, so no additional equipment is necessary. This keeps the initial start-up cost of upgrading to energy efficient lighting to a minimum, while maximizing the overall return on investment.
