Job Description:
The Inside Sales Representative will provide support to the Customer Service Team, so that every customer is handled in a positive and professional manner. Although this position will be expected to provide service to any customer that needs assistance, each Inside Sales Representative will be assigned to particular accounts.

 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Handle all customer concerns in a positive and professional manner
2.Provide additional support to the key 80% customers in assigned region
3.Provide open lines of communication with customers and provide any necessary information
4.Receive, identify and resolve customer questions or complaints in a timely manner
5.Process orders for merchandise received by mail, telephone, or personally from customer or company employee
6.Track open orders and backorders
7.Ensure all order entry is accurate and complete
8.Route orders to Purchasing or Scheduling as needed
9.Issue RMAs and follow-up with customer regarding outcome of returns
10.Ensure all customer data is accurate and up-to-date
11.Record customer data into the system used for tracking information
12.Always attempt to up-sell a customer’s order
13.Follow-up with trade show leads and advertising
14.Initiate out bound sales contacts to introduce specials, sales history/forecast, or upcoming activities
15.Follow up on Quotes and assist in tracking the outcome of each quote

NATURE AND SCOPE:

The Litetronics Inside Sales Representative will report to the Customer Care Manager.

The Inside Sales Representative responds promptly to customer needs and requests for service and assistance. He/she also meets commitments made to customers and colleagues. The Inside Sales Representative is able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner. He/she gathers and analyzes information skillfully, develops alternative solutions, works well in group problem-solving situations, and uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.

The Inside Sales Representative is expected to speak clearly and positively while interacting with customers. The Inside Sales Representative is also expected to consistently arrive at work and on time. He/she ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent. He/she does not leave customer waiting while on personal calls.

Experience: A minimum of two - four years sales and/or customer service experience in industrial products desired.

Specialized/Technical Knowledge:

1.Strong technical & organizational competence
2.Strong computing skills, including Great Plains and the Microsoft Office software suite
3.Possess effective oral and written communications skills
4.Possess excellent interpersonal skills
5.Capable of establishing and maintaining effective relationships with all persons that this position interacts with.
6.Capable of learning the lighting industry
