Print Graphic Designer

Litetronics International is seeking a Print Graphic Designer who is familiar with a variety of graphic design concepts, practices, and procedures. The Print Graphic Designer relies heavily on extensive experiences and judgment to plan and accomplish its goals and objectives. Also, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected from this position, and is expected to travel minimally 0-10%.

The Print Graphic Designer is expected to be knowledgeable of industry competitors, market trends, and technology. The Print Graphic Designer will utilize design principles to improve marketing materials that include print, packaging, photography, and imagery. This position requires knowledge of lighting products and technology. The Print Graphic Designer reports to the Vice President of Marketing.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, a minor in marketing desired
  • 1-3 years experience
  • Strong computing skills, including Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • After Effects and animation skills are a plus, but not required
  • Strong technical and organizational competence.
  • Knowledge/experience of principles and practices of marketing.
  • Capable of learning the lighting industry and products for markets.
  • Capable of making effective presentations.
  • Possess effective oral and written communications skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Capable of establishing and maintaining effective relationships with all persons with whom this position interacts.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the creation of marketing communication materials for print design.
    • Print material
    • Newsletters
    • Package design and core construction
    • Trade show graphics
    • Advertisements
    • Promotions
    •  
  • Orders, quotes, back orders, pick tickets, invoices, and envelopes.
  • Responsible for leading improvements in the print design processes to insure consistent quality and timely delivery of materials.
  • Responsible for graphics and color proofing of all documents prior to ordering.
  • Responsible for all photography and images.
  • Responsible for the design and print of all business cards.
  • Design growth: the print graphic designer should take a role in learning new design techniques to improve the available design options.
  • Monitor and update all graphics on marketing materials, including product photos from design changes and product specification updates.
  • Responsible for the creation of sales aids and sales training tools intended to profitably grow market share.
  • Support the needs for layouts of sales material with the support of the Marketing Coordinator:
    • Presentations
    • Training documents
    • Miscellaneous material needs
