Job Description:

Litetronics International, Inc is a privately held commercial lighting manufacturer based in Alsip, Ill.  Litetronics has an opening for a Marketing Coordinator, who will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring the marketing communications tactical plans for the company.  Ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in marketing/communications and have 1-3 years of work experience.  This position is expected to travel up to 25%. 

Requirements:

  • Implement marketing communications, including branding, advertising, public relations, trade shows, seminars and events, collateral materials, analyst and market research, and Web site content.
  • A strong communicator with excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and presentation skills. Must have experience writing B2B benefit-driven copy, news releases, and articles.
  • Create and edit copy to produce newsletters, brochures, publications, marketing e-mails, letters, and other promotional materials 
  • Write B2B e-mail blasts, direct mail, and other direct marketing activities.
  • Write and produce product collateral materials—sell sheets, brochures, press releases.
  • Communicate to sales force on all marketing initiatives and keep all marketing materials current and organized.
  • Create copy for product sales presentations for new and existing products.
  • Implement sales promotions.
  • Draft and review Website content; maintain firm-wide Website.
  • Identify, review, and implement social networking business development opportunities.
  • Work with external vendors – public relations firms, marketing firms, etc. – as needed.
  • Oversee trade show execution and event planning
  • Write press releases and maintain active public relations campaign.  Track press exposure.
  • Identify, create and coordinate PR opportunities with media and associations to increase market awareness for Litetronics via articles, interviews, Web postings, external speaking engagements, and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Assist in the development of communications plans to build business
  • Track and measure the results of all marketing tactics and programs.
  • Work with sales team and the product management team to identify opportunities in the market.
  • Conduct competitive market research and help develop sales strategies and marketing materials to combat competition
